Predicting Market Movement Using Machine Learning
In this article I use K-Nearest Neighbors on historic stock data to predict market trends
I received a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from The George Washington University in May of 2019. Through Mechanical engineering I learned important skills in critical thinking, problem solving and math. I was also able to take part in many interesting projects including building a hovercraft, building a silicone 3D printer, and designing electric car heating systems using python. While studying mechanical engineering I discovered a passion for coding. My love for analytics drove me to obtain a certificate in data science from NYC Data Science Academy in 2020. I have completed many data science related projects, obtained 1st place in PNC Code Fest and I love to volunteer. Several of my projects are included below, as well as my contact information and links to my LinkedIn, Github and Medium page.

In this project I worked with a team to increase customer purchase frequency for an online grocer to drive profit
In this project I worked within a team to accurately predict housing prices using multiple linear regression stacked with elastic net and XGBoost
In this project I used NLP on book descriptions to identify similar books and suggest reading material to users
In this project I built out a class to run texas holdem simulations and run thousands of simulations to identify probabilities, it also includes an interactive dashboard
In this project I scraped OpenTable to identify potential restaurant locations
